The scariest one
![]() HK is busy and even more so when we have two highly commercialised festivals in October. While some check out the lanterns and ponder about mooncakes, some worry about Halloween..."what should I wear"? The scariest one for me in this photo is the giant spider but tomorrow I'm going to show you the creepiest one of all ;p Tags: |

I suggest you wear the "scream" mask
ã
The Scream mask really is great! But I also like the laughing skull under the mask.
ã
how to wear the spider exactly?
but ewwwww!
ã
Oh this is fantastic. We don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands, but these masks make me wish we did.
ã
Santy, in the US they would be called boas.
I agree with bunyamin and phillip. The scream mask is great.
The most recent Halloween trend I have noticed in the US is that adults take the holiday as an opportunity to ware risqué costumes to bars and parties. As a result I enjoy Halloween more now than I did as a kid.
ã
They must start early in Hong Kong - Halloween isn't until 31st October. I think I prefer the lanterns although I wouldn't mind going to work in the wolf man outfit to bark/howl at clients and suppliers.
ã
Good old nightmare fuel :p
ã
Is "trick or treat" being done in Hong Kong? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_or_treat
ã
OK Lisi...this post of yours just qualified for an "R" rating...anyone see the double "set" just to the right of that MUNSCH "Scream" mask? LMAO! No problem if I DID LMAO, there's one to replace it right there! By the way, after four boys and (collectively) about 40 years worth of Halloween & costumes, this looks like my garage! LOL! ;-)
ã
Actually, I was typing this from the Land Down Under...make that LEFT of the mask! ;-)
ã
the spider's so big. eeiikkss!
ã
So cool. I love Halloween. I assume that for most stores in the US that right after the 4th of July they pull out the Halloween stuff because it is the next big commercial holiday. Then when Halloween is over they'll be a bunch of Thanksgiving & even Christmas stuff! Are you going to show a George W. Bush mask tomorrow? :)
ã
Felicia, Costco already has Christmas stuff for sale.
ã
Hi Lisi! Scary for sure, but it's not even October yet!
I also wanted to pass this on to you - you might want to submit your blog to be one of the Best Blogs in Asia.
ã
Hi people, the scream mask is for Yao Ming, only he is tall enough ;-)
Kris, I think you can just put the spider on your back, like you do with a scarf
Santy, those boas are great but not good if you have allergy
Denton, how risque is yours? are you going to show us?
Wolfman Bob, if you can't find that in Barcelona, I'll send you one, but I thought you would prefer lanterns...
Anonymous, yes, kids "trick or treat" in HK too but they usually stay in apartment buildings
Ame, do you think they really didn't notice ;p
Felicia, LOL
Eric, thank you and same to everyone for the lovely footprints
