Fire dragon in action

When the dragon dances, it rocks!
Held by a single man, the dragon head moved around quite swiftly, while the body part, held by about 20 guys, followed in co-ordinated movements and pace. Here, the dragon was bowing to the crowds. A fine book usually becomes a movie, with an enticing trialer of course. Your photos and those of Siu Siu of the dragon dance are like a fine trailer, I've gotta go see the movie! Thanks for sharing these great images and info.

Thank you all for your generous compliments and I'm sure SiuSiu will appreciate them very much.

I had a very nice Festival with family dinner, gathering with friends, a barbeque and this exciting fire dragon dance. This is my favorite festivals among all Chinese festivals.
