Love is in the Rain
![]() Valentine's Day is a big day in Hong Kong -- the streets are flooded with bouquets in the hands of either delivery persons or proud young ladies with starry eyes. I did a little bit of detective thing and followed this guy for a while and he was shopping for flowers in the rain, asking around and checking if delivery can be made promptly. Half a dozen of red roses costs about US$50 from streetside florists. I guess everybody has a number of favourite love songs but if I have to choose one I would choose Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight". What's your favorite? P.S. Click to see a clip from TV news tonight (in Chinese), the gist: girls receiving flowers in office, guys giving out chocolates to colleagues, a stem of rose costs US$10 and a low-income couple's sweet Valentine's Day Tags: |

Nice photo :)
Hard to choose but i guess i'd say "You're in the air" R.E.M. on the (wonderful) album "Up". "...I'm what you found I'm upside down you're in the air you're in the air and i am breathing". I love "wonderful tonight" too

I also have to say "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters on the album "The Colour and the Shape", the lyrics are so true...

Hey Lisi...pretty much the same thing here in the Philippines...long lines at the flower shops...but that's the spirit of Valentines! :p

My favourite song would be Every Breath you take by Sting

Hi Lisi,
This is a beautiful picture. The man's jaw and dangling arm are almost simian, as is his curious gaze. Deep down, though, aren't we all a tad more animal than we care to admit. St Val's is just a more refined form of grunting...
Lovely colours in HK too!
